So in general, forms are not very common on web pages, and pattern elements are only moderately common in forms. Note that a web page may contain any number of forms and that forms may repeat across URLs. A typical example would be an email registration form in a page footer or a search bar in a header. To avoid a potentially complex discussion about what constitutes a web page (everything across a domain? What about subdomains?), I used the URL as my base unit. So each instance of the same search bar counts.

I love the constraints. There’s something about retro hardware and limited resolution that gets people’s creative juices flowing in a way that a blank canvas doesn’t. People really want to build for it.
